Privacy Policy

1. We do not collect any of your information

Amblo is a local utility app. All data (destinations, stops, checklists, planned dates, notes, photos, etc.) is stored only in the local database (SwiftData) and the app's sandbox files on your own device.

We do not collect your name, phone number, email, device ID, advertising ID, location, contacts, photo library, microphone, or camera information. There is no account system; you do not need to register or sign in.

2. On-device storage, no upload

Everything you enter and save in the app stays only in the on-device SwiftData database and the app's sandbox files. It is never sent to us over the network, and there is no developer server or cloud backup.

The only exception is place search: when you type a name, the keyword is sent to Apple Maps (MapKit) to look up candidate places (see Section 3). Nothing else uses the network. Photos never leave your device with exported files; keep originals in your system Photos library if you switch devices.

After you uninstall the app, iOS automatically removes all on-device data.

3. Third-party services

The only third-party service this app uses is Apple Maps (MapKit) place search, used solely in the following cases:

4. Permissions

The app requests the following permissions only when you actively trigger the corresponding feature:

You can revoke any of these permissions at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security. Once revoked, the corresponding feature becomes unavailable; other features are unaffected.

5. Data security

Your data is stored in the iOS app sandbox and protected by iOS system-level file protection. Please keep your device and its passcode / biometric credentials safe.

6. Minors

This app is not designed for children under 14, and does not collect any information from them.

7. Policy updates

We may update this privacy policy. Updates will be published within the app. Significant changes will be communicated through release notes or similar means. Continued use of the app indicates your acceptance of the latest version.
